I never thought much about writing, it always came naturally in order to verbalise those images, sequences and stories in my mind, to share them and make them become reality.

Yet, everything, from the most banal task to the most complex emotion, all of it conveys a story. And to every story there is a key on how to be put into words, whether for short, feature or serial formats or for animation, original, adapted.

Now, I do think about writing every day.

DIRECTOR

As a kid, I always wanted to become a director. Not because I wanted one of those cool chairs, rather because I always thought in moving pictures.

With a background in acting, drama and photography, as well as over two decades experience in directing various short formats, as well as commercials, music videos and animation, I know that story comes first.

So no matter the aspect ratio, length, platform, my aim is always to touch the audience by helping the story's emotions come to life.

For me, there always have been pictures and movies, stories, emotions, and the urge and luckily the ability to bring them to life and share them with others.

At age 16, I wrote and directed my first short films and music videos. Over the last twenty years, I became an actor, a photographer, and worked during the last decade for various marketing agencies and media networks as a camera operator, an editor, a creative producer, and at some point ended up founding and co-leading a production company within a marketing agency.

With roots in Peru and Scotland, I grew up as a late 80's child in the West-German countryside, travelling a lot, learning even more.

I lived and worked in Washington D.C., Berlin, Los Angeles, and Hamburg.

As screen writer and director, I specialize in fictional and animated formats. And dolce vita.
